"There aren’t enough words to capture how stunningly beautiful the landscape and home are. Every detail has been so beautifully thought through – the hosts anticipate everything you need, want, and didn’t even know you wanted!!! We travel in Airbnbs almost exclusively. Most are a place to stay, a jumping off point to do other things – we hiked the Hooker Valley trail among other things.
But Skylark Cabin is special, it’s not just a jumping off point or a place to stay – it is a destination in and of itself. It’s amazing, worth every penny, and I can say with confidence that we will be back."

"Wow! Where do we start…what an experience that was for my wife and I, for our honeymoon!! Garry and Liz were exceptional hosts – generous, thoughtful and high attention to detail. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home – the architecture and design of the space was so well thought-out. We especially loved the outdoor bathtub and kitchen! We were also lucky enough to experience snow fall for the time ever here - it was a truly magical experience! EVERY LITTLE DETAIL MADE FOR A PERFECT STAY
"I don't even feel like I need to write a review except to say: Stop reading reviews right now and book this place! This was easily one of the most amazing and thoughtful Airbnb experiences I have ever had and I have stayed in quite a few. Beyond the fact that this location itself was so peaceful and beautiful, every little detail within the cabin was thoughtfully crafted to make for a perfect stay. We were greeted with some cheese and wine and snacks to enjoy upon our arrival, along with a well-stocked fridge for everything we might need. The outdoor tub was amazing and there are even large warm coats to throw on over the provided robes if you are staying there in the winter like we did. I could go on and on about all the great things and little touches but you should really just book and experience it for yourself. I cannot wait to come back to the Skylark Cabin, it was an unforgettable experience."

ENJOY THE PICTURE PERFECT SURROUNDINGS
"Skylark is something that needs to be experienced to be truly appreciated.
The cabin itself is beautiful, homely and the perfect space to enjoy the picture perfect surroundings. It is well stocked with everything you need in general for condiments and cooking equipment/utensils — just do a shop in town on your way out for all your food. It’s only a 10 minute drive anyway for anything you need. Garry and Liz were extremely responsive with their communication from start to finish and made us feel right at home. Check in was super easy and we felt right at home as soon as we entered the cabin. Our stay here was everything and more that we had hoped it would be — thanks so much for having us! We would return in a heartbeat!"

THE OUTDOOR BATH IS INCREDIBLE
"Skylark Cabin is the most peaceful, well thought out and incredible place! We couldn’t believe the peace and quiet, the stillness and the vast and beautiful view! The inside was super cool, thoughtful, cosy and roomy all at the same time. I read about the build of the place in a book Skylark was featured in – it’s a very smart architectural design that did everything they wanted it to. The skylight above the bed made it hard to go to sleep as all we wanted to do was stargaze, but the comfy as bed made it impossible to stay awake! The outdoor bath is an incredible feature and I’ve never sat in such silence before. Every detail and amenity has been provided, from amazing snow jackets, bikes, food provisions and a bottle of wine and chocolates on arrival. Everything is cool and we cozied up by the fire each night feeling right at home. One of our favourite places we have ever stayed."

A PERFECT ESCAPE FROM OUR BUSY LIVES
"What an amazing stay! We were looking forward to this stay based on previous reviews and we couldn't have been happier, wished we were able to stay for longer. Even before our trip, Garry was super helpful in regards to helping plan our road trip and things to do. Once we arrived, we were welcomed to a very cosy adobe with the most generous welcome platter of snacks and goodies. The home was well equipped and even better than described. Garry and Liz left very good instructions on how to work any of the appliances or fixtures. Loved stargazing from the porch and falling asleep to the stars in bed. We enjoyed our time in the outdoor hot tub and felt very relaxed. A perfect escape from our busy lives! We hope to visit again during a different season. Can't wait. Thank you so much Garry and Liz."
